The story of a person or family you support is profoundly precious—not to be exploited or mistreated. Often it spans years or decades and involves both good and bad choices that have led them to where they are today: working with your organization to find healing, comfort, stability, or other support. Ultimately, it is their story—not yours, and not ours.

When someone agrees to share their story, they are not seeking to be showcased. They are stepping forward in vulnerability because they care about your organization and believe their experience can inspire others to seek the same support they received.

And now they have entrusted us to tell their story. We take that responsibility seriously. When we craft these stories on video, we work collaboratively with the individual and with you, and we take careful steps to preserve their dignity. It is not uncommon for us to omit elements they once openly shared because we know they might later regret their inclusion.

Testimonial videos are brief, yet often the most powerful content we produce because they reveal our shared humanity in a direct, personal way. Any of us could be one or two unfortunate circumstances away from needing the services organizations like yours provide. With that perspective, we share testimonials that are engaging and beautiful—but never at the expense of the dignity your clients deserve.
